Rating: 3 1/2 stars Karim and Galila are total opposites yet both have the skills to work as a team in their assigned roles. The fact they compliment one another as King and Queen is what makes this story believable. At times, they both were downright annoying due to their childhood trauma. It was nice watching them come together for the good of their families and kingdoms. Not sure if Galila still got the short end of things like Karim's poor mother. Karim needs to go to therapy and Galila as we...more

It was nice, heart-warming MOC story. After this months' frustrations, it was like a rain on a desert. Of course it is not like a good oldie but, at least for a modern book, it has little bit angst. Bound to the Desert King Mini Series were quite satisfactory for me. I look forward to Sheikh's Secret Love-Child
To all my friends who love Harlequin Presents books. This book along with Michelle Smart's Billionaire's Baby of Redemption are the only two out of the eight released in September with a virgin heroine. Short review: it started out slow. I didn’t think I would actually like this one since the heroine isn’t the usually shy and sweet heroine I’m use to. She’s quite dramatic but that’s to be expected I guess from a princess. I loved the chemistry between the leads and the dialogues between them. I w...more

Short review. Enjoyable read. Great pacing and storyline. Liked both the Hero and Heroine and their interaction. Appreciated the communication between the two and how it was adult in nature. Nice romance and chemistry between the two. Did find the situation between MC parents a little awkward. Conflict and resolution was well done.
Sweet and romantic read but the ending was abrupt. Still decent though. This month was not good when it comes to Harlequin Presenrs.

Loved this story. Liked both the hero and the heroine. Kept me interested (even though it took me a while to finish it due to work commitments) but it was worth it. Great read. Can't wait to start the next one in this series!
Dani Collins has bought some very strong emotions to life in this story, two people who are so very different one needing love and one is never going to love, Sheikh Karim will do anything to keep a secret that he has kept for many years and that means marrying Princess Galila, when she lets slip something that needs to be kept a secret, this one is a page turner. Galila is at her brother’s wedding and she has been drinking, life hasn’t been happy for Galila she craves love and after being treate...more

A passionate, romantic read with a heroine that is trying to find her own strength and a hero who is used to getting what he wants when he wants makes for a brilliant read.

Dani Collins paints a stunning portrait of romance, seduction and scandal in her latest release. Galila and Karim are polar opposites but when they come together the fire is as real as day. But how far can one go to protect what belongs to him? Karim goes all the way and what he finds in the end is his beautiful, forever bride! I was bowled over by the passionate romance, the intense emotion, the drama, the characters but most of all the writing itself is what creates the magic and tug-o-war of...more
The third book in this series did not disappoint. Galila and Karim’s book is truly heartbreaking. Her mother was a selfish, nasty woman. And his father was a sad, weak man. The decisions that their parents made is the cause of the hurt and insecurity that their kids are still experiencing as adults. Galila’s lack of self esteem was so sad. She felt like she was being overly needy because she wanted the love she has been denied in her life. Karim’s father’s weakness and his mother’s subsequent em...more
Review Posted at HarlequinJunkie.com When her brother agrees to marriage between her and Sheikh Karim to avoid scandal, Galila decides she’s not going to make things easy for the ruthless Sheikh. However, the more time she spends around Karim, the harder she finds it to deny their intense chemistry. Will their marriage of convenience ever be more or will they walk away from each other because Karim doesn’t think he can ever give Galila what she wants – love? Read More
Sheikh Karim is a guest at the wedding of Prince Zufars and is enthralled by the bubbly Princess Galila. Bubbly because she is really quite intoxicated. In their conversation he finds out she has information that is something he would like to remain a secret so he takes her to her room and in the morning to protect her honor offers her marriage. The last thing she wants is to marry Karim but her brother who is ruler has decided it will be. He has it all planned out except he never realized how m...more

Princess Galila knew she should celebrate the wedding of her brother, but still reeling from finding out they had a secret half brother, she ends up coming on to a handsome stranger while tipsy. Little did she know that the man who found her drunk at the reflecting pond, was actually Sheikh Karim of Zyria. A neighboring country. Karim is more than just shocked when Galila starts to talk about the mysterious half brother her mother had abandoned years before. A half brother that was also his half...more
4 1/2 STARS! Blackmailed ... into love? With the third book in the Bound to the Desert King quartet, Dani Collins brings us Karim and Galila's story. He's been keeping a secret for most of his life and with a few drunken words, she sets his world to spinning with new information that could ruin everything! The characters are both quite feisty, and watching them come together and attempt to fight their attraction at the same time as they are giving in to it is quite a fun endeavor! Such a thrilling adventure of a story; from family secrets to planned escapes to desert adventures, Karem and Galila is just wonderful! I really loved how Karem and Galila meet and how eveything evolves, page turning plot. I loved the attempted escape and the saving and Dani Collin's dramatic way of growing the characters and the history behind them and the two characters who are strong in their own way but together can be so much more. The third book in the Bound to the Desert King series deliver...more

One of the Bound to the Desert King series. It's hard to keep track of who the Desert Kings are (names) and how they're related. Understandable, relate-able female. The hero didn't appeal to me, not sure why. The author explained why he was remote with the heroine, and tended to run hot and cold but it became annoying how quickly he cycled between the two. Never warmed up to him. Worth reading as part of the series with a twist inserted in the beginning that only means anything if you've read the...more
'Sheikh's Princess of Convenience (Bound to the Desert King #3)' by Dani Collins was a good, quick read. It made me want to reach through the book and slap Sheikh Karim a few times for the way he treated Princess Galila when they met. Basically, because of a minor dalliance at a wedding he forces her into a marriage deal. Galila finds herself falling for Karim but both have issues they need to deal with from their past. It's a classic Harlequin with a little more HOT scenes involved.

Sheikh Karim is ruthless and knows what he wants. Princess Galila wants to be loved and wants to find out more about her family's secrets. Can she make Karim love her or will he continue to be standoff and not show affection. Will they find love with each other? Or are they doomed to destroy each other.

If you love Sheikhs and their women, you will love this one. Sheihk Karim finds out that Princess Galla knows about his family secrets. He marries her to silence her. When he kisses her, they have chemistry that’s off the charts. Karim tried to stay away but he can’t. The passion is so hot between them, he can’t resist. I love the passion and story of them. It’s a wonderful read. Love it

I enjoyed this book. Pincess Galila discovered she had a half brother that her and her siblings did not know about. She is at her brothers's wedding and spills the family secret which is part his secret. He seduces her into silence and they must marry or create a scandal for her brother who is the King.

This is book 3 in the series and while I am not a big fan of Sheikh stories (something so 80s about it all), this one was pretty cute and was easily the best of the four books in the series. I liked the characters. I liked the writing. A sweet little HAE to get through a wet winter's day :-)

Great marriage of convenience story. There was a little of everything in the plot which made it a well paced read. The MCs were my favourite of the series so far. Loved the fiesty heroine, Galila! But once again, an abrupt ending. Hopefully the last book will give us a good epi.

3rd in the series, but I think the other books are by other authors. I tried that before & got a stinker. So, I liked this book. Galila seems really shallow, as well as a drunk, but she improves. Karim is a cold fish, but eventually Galila warms him up. Typical Harlequin, if you like them.
Very good story! Nice continuation of the Bound to the Desert King series. Lots of adventure and twists. Nice to see strong characters.

same time. Sheikh Karim is as ruthless as the harsh desert that forged him. Entertaining bubbly Princess Galila at a royal wedding seems frivolous…until she reveals his family’s darkest secret. To protect their honor, Karim must seduce Galila into silence! The raw heat of their encounter stuns him…and inspires a more permanent solution. To prevent a scandal, Karim will make impetuous Galila his convenient bride! Opposites attract in this sensational royal romance

4 stars I received a free copy of The Healer: A Medieval Romance by Dani Collins and this review was given freely. This full length fantasy novel is set in Medieval times and focuses more heavily on the climate of the time and clashes between clans than on romance. A misunderstanding that occurs when Single dad Vaun, who is both War General and half brother to a Kerf King, saves the head of the oppressed and rapidly expiring Alvian Clan, Athadia, results in death and war. This novel is complex with...more
